You can get free images easily without paying a single dime as there are many sources available on internet.
Best free stock photo sites:
I personally like morguefile where one can get free images with high resolution.Before using images check the terms of use set by them.You may copy or download the images.A few photograph are not Public Domain but Royalty Free. The photographer retains Copyright. If you use that photograph the person who uploaded the image would very much like to know how it is being used, whom you could contact by sending an email.

Stock Xchang The best thing about it is there is no website name on the picture and you are not required to link back to their photos while many free stock phots sites are involved in that.
Stock Xpert This site is reffered by stock xchang,offers photos for as low as 1$.But at the same time you can download photos free of cost.

Google ,Yahoo or msn images:
Many people find an easy way to look for images by searching a relevant keyword on google,yahoo or msn.But if seen on top of the searched page,it say "Image may be scaled down and subject to copyright."So using these images by clicking right,copying and pasting afterwords is not good always as it may lead to some sorta legal trouble.If you are insisted to use the images,its better to take prior permission from the owner.Another misconception is if you are having these images on your blogs or webpages it would help you getting clicks on googleads.No,this way you may get a boost in traffic but none would click on the ads from the people who landed on your page in search of images themselves.
